“Social responsibility is an ethical or ideological theory that an entity whether it is a government, corporation, organization or individual has a responsibility to society at large. This responsibility can be "negative", meaning there is exemption from blame or liability, or it can be "positive," meaning there is a responsibility to act beneficently (proactive stance).”

AJEK Limited only acknowledges one stance on Social Responsibility; and that is the latter.

At AJEK our proactive, positive stance on Social Responsibility means that you will be dealing with a company that places these values at the heart of its operations, after all, it was on these very values that the company was founded. How do we do this you might ask?

By employing an active Social Responsibility Programme, which is constantly under review.
By being totally ethical in our working practices, in regards to care for the environment in which we operate, employ and live. We try where possible to exclude, or at the very least minimise the use of Hazardous Chemicals and Materials, and where it isn’t possible to rule out their use completely, we ensure we utilize the correct and appropriate methods of disposing of them, in a safe and above all else, legal manner.
By aiming to have a positive impact on both our working environment and in the communities where we are active, instead of adopting the practice of where companies seek to merely ‘make up’ for their negative impact.
By liaising directly with the public in our area and asking them what they think would benefit them, as we aim to help all elements of our local community.
By providing help where we can to any team, organisation, club, association or group in our area, be it in terms of sponsorship, funding or by merely providing a helping hand in regards to the skills we have as a company.
